FAQs
Are Latex Gloves Reusable?
Latex gloves are generally designed for single use and are not recommended for reuse. Reusing latex gloves can compromise their protection, increasing the risk of contamination and reducing their effectiveness against germs and chemicals. For tasks involving hygiene or safety, it’s best to dispose of latex gloves after each use and use a fresh pair each time.
What Industries Use Latex Gloves?
Latex gloves are used across various industries due to their durability, flexibility and protective qualities. They are often used in key industries including hospitals, dental practices, food processing, laboratories and more.
What Are The Benefits of Latex Gloves?
They are designed with elasticity and comfort, allowing for a tight fit and better flexibility during use. Latex is also highly durable and resistant to tears, providing reliable protection against germs, bacteria and certain chemicals.
What Is Latex?
There are two types of latex, natural and synthetic. Natural latex comes from rubber trees and is harvested from their sap. But synthetic latex is made of petroleum-based chemicals that create dried polymers to be rolled into sheets and cut. Synthetic latex gloves, alongside nitrile gloves, are beneficiary for those with a natural latex allergy.
How to Measure the Width of your Hand:
To measure the width of your hand, you should place a ruler across the palm of your hand. Measure the widest part of your hand excluding your thumb. The diagram below shows where you should measure from.

From here, compare your measurement with the table below to determine which size you should get.
It is important to keep in mind that there can be a ±10mm discrepancy for each size. If you are in between sizes it is always best to size up.
